An established partnership Terminal Nord Ravenna, buys the fourth Liebherr Crane
An additional LIEBHERR crane model LHM 420 will enter in operation at Terminal Nord SpA by next summer. TERMINAL NORD – part of the SAPIR group – has recently confirmed the purchase of the mentioned crane, which has a lifting capacity of 124 tons with a maximum outreach of 48 m.
The crane will be equipped with a 20m3 grab, in order to enhance the bulk handling capacity.
The new LIEBHERR crane will also be supplied complete with the LiDAT® smart App data processing system , capable of providing all crane data remotely and in real time.
The LiDAT® smartApp system allows telematic service by the customer’s maintenance staff as well as the automatic detection of loading-unloading cycles in order to view the productivity of the crane. With the Optimizer function, the Terminal Nord customer will have as well the possibility to evaluate the optimal position of the crane with respect to the positioning of the hopper in order to optimize the work cycles.
The SAPIR group, the most important terminal company in the port of Ravenna, confirms its strategy of modernization and digitization of its port equipment by consolidating the partnership relationship with Mac Port – LIEBHERR.
With this order, the LHM units in service at the terminals of the SAPIR group rise to 10.
A successful partnership, Salerno container terminal buys the fourth Liebherr crane
The investment plan of SCT Salerno continues unabated. The purchase of the new Liebherr crane mod. LHM 600 HR follows the medium-term project of the Gallozzi Group company which provides for the total modernization of the port equipment.
The new crane has a lifting capacity of 104 tons with a maximum outreach of 58 m. , the container configuration allows the new LHM 600 crane to reach the 19th row of containers on ships.
Soon Salerno Container Terminal will be able to count on a Liebherr fleet consisting of 2 LHM 800 HR and 2 LHM 600 HR. The new Liebherr crane will be in operation by December 2022.
